With the Chinese New Year of the Dragon less than a month away, a series of major Spring Festival events are set to unfold. 

A Chinese New Year event （“环球中国年”）will be running at Universal Beijing Resort, from January 27 to March 10, 2024, creating a new landmark for visitors to capture the spirit of the Lunar New Year.

Throughout the festivities, visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the joyous and bustling Spring Festival market at the newly introduced Universal Spring Square. They can enjoy the 2024 Universal's Chinese New Year special performance and welcome back the beloved auspicious lions "Jixiang Huanhuan" and "Ruyi Qiuqiu," which are unique to Universal Beijing Resort.

Throughout the event, a vibrant festive spirit will extend from the Universal CityWalk Beijing to every corner of the park. Hollywood district is also all decked out in Year of the Dragon style. The resort will also introduce new Spring Festival culinary delights and exclusive merchandise. Additionally, the park plans to continue offering special deals like the Beijing Universal Studios single-day group ticket (for four), enhanced Spring Festival fun packages, and New Year's special hotel and dining packages.

Additionally, from February 10 to February 25, 2024, Beijing Happy Valley will host the "China-Chic Spring Festival" series of events, offering visitors a rich taste of the New Year's festivities.

The "Fire Dragon Steel Flower" spectacle will make a grand return to Beijing Happy Valley, where the ancient art of iron flower firework promises to usher in a prosperous and vibrant New Year. The park will be aglow with thematic lighting, creating a dazzling and colorful atmosphere. The newly revamped "Northeastern Flavor" Nafu Town will be open to the intangible cultural heritage of the fish lantern dance joining the luminous night parade, inviting you to experience the charm of Eastern romantic aesthetics.
