If you have worked in Beijing for at least four consecutive years and resided in China for at least six months each year, with annual wage income for the four consecutive years before and at the time of application is not less than six times the average wage of urban employees in the area in the previous years, and the annual personal income tax paid is not less than 20 percent of the annual wage income standard, you may apply for a Foreign Permanent Resident ID Card with the recommendation of your employer.

► A photocopy of the physical examination certificate issued by either a health and quarantine department designated by the Chinese government, or by a foreign medical institution notarized by the Chinese embassy in the country (The designated exit-entry health and quarantine department in Beijing is the Beijing International Travel Health Care Center, and the certificate shall be issued within six months prior to the date of the acceptance of the application.)
► Original copy of the certificate of salary for four consecutive years prior to the date of application (issued by the employer)
► Applicant's tax payment certificates issued by tax authority(-ies) (The tax payment period shall be four consecutive years prior to the date of application.)
► Original copy of the recommendation letter issued by the current employer
► A photocopy of the registration certificate of the employer (If the employer is an enterprise, the duplicate of the business license is required. For any other kind, other types of certificates such as the legal person certificate of a public institution shall be provided. If the employer is a foreign-funded enterprise, a "Certificate of Approval for Establishment of Enterprises with Foreign Investment in the People's Republic of China", or a "Recordation Receipt for Establishment of Enterprises with Foreign Investment in the People's Republic of China" and a "Modification Receipt for Recordation of Enterprises with Foreign Investment in the People's Republic of China" are needed.)
►A photocopy of the applicant's "Foreigner's Work Permit" (The valid period should be four consecutive years prior to the date of application. Information about the applicant's employer, position and personal details should be consistent with that in the certificate of employment and other relevant certificates.)
► If the applicant had Chinese nationality before, he/she shall provide the photocopies of the residence permit and the naturalization paper or the household certificate transcript of the concerned foreign country, and that of the Chinese passport used for naturalization.
► Personal resume of the applicant (which shall include the details from 18 years old to present, with no missing gaps between years or months)

1. The applicant must sign the application form.
