Pilot Run of Driverless Shuttle Minibuses Between Three Cultural Landmarks in Beijing Municipal Administrative Center

In response to the diverse travel needs of visitors to the three cultural landmarks in Beijing Municipal Administrative Center, Beijing Municipal Commission of Transport, building on the existing regular public transport capacity and leveraging the opportunity of expanding Beijing High-level Autonomous Driving Demonstration Zone 3.0, has launched a pilot run of driverless shuttle services around the three landmarks from March 3, 2024. Passengers now have the opportunity to take trial rides on these shuttle buses for free to travel back and forth between Central Green Forest Park, Haojiafu Subway Station, and the three cultural landmarks.

At present, two experiential circulating routes have been set up. One route operates between the P12 parking lot of the Central Green Forest Park and Beijing Library, with the buses on this route departing every 15 minutes and stopping at Shangmatoulunan Station and Shangmatoulubei Station. The second route stretches from Haojiafu Subway Station to Beijing Library, with the buses departing every 40 minutes

along this route and stopping at Haojiafu Subway Station and Shangmatoulubei Station. Both routes operate from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 13:30 to 16:00 every day. Passengers interested in experiencing the services can take complimentary trial rides at the aforementioned bus stations.
