On October 22, the Silk Road influencers participating in the event "Explore a Modernized City of Opportunities - 2024 Silk Road Rediscovery Tour of Beijing" visited the three major cultural buildings at Beijing Municipal Administrative Center (BMC) - Beijing Library, Beijing Performing Arts Centre, and the Grand Canal Museum of Beijing, to experience the new urban landscape with a blend of ancient and modern elements.

Beijing Library is a brand new smart library. Adriana Delorenzo, partner, executive editor, and news commentator of Brazil's Revista Fórum, believed that in the digital information age, it is precious to have such a spacious, comfortable, and multi-functional offline reading space, while marveling at "Beijing's meticulous planning in the cultural field". After interacting with the virtual digital humans in the Metaverse Experience Hall, Thai influencer Thanaphat Khajornchaikul exclaimed "That's amazing" and "It's so cool"!

At the Beijing Performing Arts Centre, Silk Road influencers visited the opera house, concert hall, and theater, exploring the latest "art + tech" applications, such as immersive sound systems and VR. Pavel Surovy, a multi-media artist from Serbia and director of the f the Cultural Center Kisač, Novi-Sad said, "Chinese art has inspired me a lot, and I will also incorporate Chinese elements into my artistic creations."

At the Grand Canal Museum of Beijing, Silk Road influencers admired the exhibited cultural relics and experienced interactive smart facilities. Mukhammad Obidov, Chief Editor of the Uzbekistan National News Agency and Chairman of the the Journalists' Association of Fergana, said that he was deeply impressed by these collections, and the three major cultural buildings revealed to him "a completely different Beijing".
