Beijing's key railway stations have introduced a series of upgrades to enhance the first impression for inbound travelers, combining environmental improvements with more efficient passenger flow management to create garden-style stations that are both attractive and functional.
Notable enhancements include:
Beijingxi Railway Station: A newly opened e-hailing pickup area on the west side of the south square roundabout now features a sleek white sunshade canopy and decorative flower planters. New numbered guidance signs have been installed near the roundabout to help drivers and passengers connect more quickly.
Beijing Railway Station: Additional ground-level e-hailing pickup points have been set up to ease congestion in underground parking facilities.
Beijing Chaoyang Station: The e-hailing transfer area at the transportation hub now uses color-coded zones to help passengers and drivers locate each other faster.
Beijing Fengtai Railway Station: A 360-square-meter sunshade canopy has been added to the upgraded ride-hailing waiting area at the P1 South Square parking lot, providing shelter from both sun and rain.
