As the International Day of Families approaches, an event titled "Celebrating International Day of Families Together – Beijing 2025" was held at the Beijing Garden of World's Flowers.

The event featured a diverse range of sections such as gardening experiences, interactive activities involving intangible cultural heritage, fun competitions, and flower-viewing tours. It attracted over 200 participants from the Chinese and foreign families living in Beijing. The participating foreign families this time come from more than 10 countries including Sri Lanka, Nepal, Belgium, Spain, Mexico, Germany, and Indonesia.

"The children really enjoyed the interactive games of the event and had a wonderful time here," said Sabita Nakarmi, Counsellor of the Embassy of Nepal in China, along with her family. The family of Mark, a Belgian researcher from the China Academy of Sciences, said: "We made a lot of new friends during the event which strengthened the friendship between Chinese and foreign families with flowers. We wish solidarity, friendship, harmony and happiness to the whole world, which is also a big family."

As a brand event of the capital's civil diplomacy, Beijing's "Celebrating International Day of Families Together" event has been held for 15 consecutive years. It has established a bridge of exchanges and mutual understanding for Chinese and foreign families in the city.
