A themed setting full of the traditional elements of the Chinese New Year has been completed at the water transport wharf of Beijing (Tongzhou) Grand Canal Cultural Scenic Area. The scenic area will play host to the much-anticipated "Great Grand Canal Fair" with gastronomical offers, intangible cultural heritage experiences and dazzling performances associated with the Grand Canal during the Spring Festival holiday.

At the century-old Langfang Toutiao Street in the Qianmen-Dashilar area, a huge spherical construction themed "Blooming Flowers and Full Moon", together with other festive decorations such as Chinese knots featuring the luck-bringing character "Fu" and light installations integrating the designs of classic palace lanterns, will transform the area into a place of jubilant harmony.

The east and west streets of Liulichang are now aglow with the traditional Chinese lanterns and poetic light settings, immersed in a lively and enchanting atmosphere.
