The Forbidden City has launched stone lion-shaped ice cream bars inspired by the traditional figures perched upon the eaves of rooves in the Forbidden City, which are popular among tourists.
The National Museum of China offers a variety of ice cream bars shaped in the artifacts collected by the museum, including a ceramic figure of a story-teller, Da Yu Ding (a bronze circular vessel manufactured in the Western Zhou Dynasty), a jade pendant with patterns of orange day-lilies, Siyang Fangzun (also known as the "Four-goat Square Zun", a ritual bronze vessel manufactured in the Shang Dynasty), and Taoying Ding (an eagle-shaped ceramic vessel of the Yangshao culture).
