On October 8, a China-Europe freight train loaded with auto parts and precision machinery departed from the Beijing International Land Port in Fangshan District for Belarus. This is the 100th international freight train to depart since the port began operations.

From the first train to the 100th, the cargo mix has changed. Initially, products labelled "Beijing's Smart Manufacturing Products" accounted for 30 to 50 percent of total shipments, but today the figure has reached 100 percent. The share of high value-added goods with this branding, from daily goods to auto parts, from precision machinery to high-end equipment, has risen steadily over more than one year.

The Beijing International Land Port has been in operation for a relatively short period. Its first China-Central Asia freight train was launched on March 19, 2025. The regular China-Central Asia freight service was launched on April 20 this year, followed by the regular China-Europe freight service on July 1. A dual-route regular service framework for the China-Europe and China-Central Asia routes has thus been established, making Beijing one of the few cities in China to operate regular freight trains to both Central Asia and Europe.

At present, international trains operated by the Beijing International Land Port connect five major border ports and offer direct services to five countries, namely Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Russia, Belarus and Azerbaijan, with coverage extending to more than 20 countries and regions, including Türkiye and Serbia.
