Previously, after completing foreign-related notarization, applicants had to make a separate visit to the foreign affairs authority to complete consular legalization—a cumbersome and time-consuming process. Under the new service model, every applicant may simultaneously apply for the agency service for consular legalization when applying for foreign-related notarization. Simply submit your documents to one of the 24 notary public offices, and when you collect your notarized documents, they will already have been certified for consular use. This new model is designed to save time and effort, allowing you to complete both steps in one visit.
