On June 27, the "Da Yan Jing" (literally "Beijing's Big Eye") Ferris wheel officially opened to the public. Located in the Beijing Happy Valley, it sets a new record as the tallest Ferris wheel in Beijing, with a height of 99 meters, becoming a striking landmark on the city's skyline and a new destination for residents and tourists seeking fun and romantic experiences.

Sitting inside a cabin as it slowly ascends, visitors can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view, with the Happy Valley (including the Playa Maya Water Park) and the CBD's skyline of skyscrapers all dazzling the eyes. The Ferris wheel has 46 oval-shaped viewing cabins, 10 of which are VIP cabins featuring various themes for family gatherings, birthday celebrations, romantic dates and splendid visual experiences. It can accommodate 460 passengers at the same time, with each ride lasting approximately 22 minutes.

At the Galaxy Plaza (银河广场) commercial complex, which made its debut alongside the Ferris wheel, visitors can, in addition to riding the wheel, enjoy performances such as a cappella shows, street concerts, and the "Dream Star Journey Grand Parade" (圆梦星程大巡游). Visitors can also check out new shops including a fragrance specialty store and a boutique with creative cultural souvenirs, and watch the sunset from a Western restaurant nearby. Performances like the float parades and the stage show titled "Swallow Li San" (燕子李三) have also been upgraded, while the immersive ancient Beijing-themed street has been revamped with new offerings.
