On June 25, Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) held a themed event for China Service Day, introducing several key passenger service products and officially releasing its updated passenger service commitment.

In collaboration with Air China, China Eastern Airlines, and Hainan Airlines, PEK launched a "15-Minute Boarding" service on selected high-frequency routes. Eligible passengers—those with no checked baggage and no special service requests can complete check-in and security screening and arrive at the boarding gate up to 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time to board their flight.

In addition, a series of other services have also been upgraded. Currently, PEK's door-to-door baggage delivery service ensures that baggage arrives at the destination at the same time as the passenger. The Dongzhimen City Terminal enables one-stop check-in and baggage drop-off.

For domestic outbound flights, passengers only need to present their ID card or Foreigner's Permanent Residence Card, without printing a boarding pass throughout the entire journey, making travel smoother.

For late-arriving passengers, dedicated fast-track check-in counters, security screening channels, and paid electric shuttle cart services are provided.

In terms of service quality, priority assistance wristbands are offered for five passenger groups, including the elderly and first-time flyers. Airport staff will proactively provide assistance throughout the process. Additionally, "smart customer service" accessible in multiple languages can quickly solve passengers' problems.

23 dining outlets in the terminal buildings operate 24 hours a day, and 52 retail stores support tax refunds for departing international passengers. Passengers who complete real-name authentication on the PEK mini-program can receive a one-time bundle of 10 consumer benefits, including dining discounts and lounge access, valid for the entire year.

At midnight on June 18, the corridor connecting the PEK West Zone Satellite Hall officially went into operation. Passengers departing from Gates A01–A16 in the West Zone Satellite Hall can, after completing check-in and security procedures at Terminal 2, follow the signage through the corridor to directly reach the departure lounge. The corridor is equipped with moving walkways throughout, saving time and providing convenience. The West Zone Satellite Hall was converted from the restricted area of the old Terminal 1. Previously, passengers had to take shuttle buses to reach Gates A01–A16 in the West Zone Satellite Hall.
