The 2026 Global Digital Economy Conference is scheduled to take place from July 2 to 5 at the China National Convention Center. Themed "Inclusive Intelligence, Borderless Connectivity", this year's conference will comprise an opening ceremony, a main forum, several themed forums, and a year-long lineup of supporting activities.

This year's conference marks a milestone in international engagement. For the very first time, it will establish an overseas parallel venue at the United Nations headquarters. The Geneva Office of the Global Digital Economy Cities Alliance will also be officially inaugurated. More than 30 prominent international organizations, including the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), and the World Data Organization (WDO), will serve as co-hosts or core participating partners.

Numerous measurable, replicable and scalable achievements around the globe will be unveiled during the conference. In collaboration with prominent organizations, including UNDP and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the conference will present several research outputs, including the Global Digital-Friendly Cities Evaluation Guidelines, the Cases of Global Digital Economy Lighthouse Program and the Global Digital Economy Cities Development Report.

Concurrently, the conference will host the Digital Economy Industry Expo, which is expected to function as a global gathering for co-creation for one person companies (OPCs).

The Media Open Day will be held on July 1 ahead of the conference.
