With the official launch of the Jingtong app, Beijing's government service platform has been fully upgraded. The app integrates service and information resources from all authorities citywide with smarter services, new functions, revamped user interfaces, enhanced usability, and stronger security, making it a new gateway for "Beijing Service".

The app's design incorporates the signature colors of Beijing, such as city-wall red and glazed-tile yellow. Its logo resembles both the Chinese character "京" (Jing, which is also the abbreviation of Beijing) and the Chinese scholar tree (Beijing's official tree).
The Chinese interface features four main sections: "Home" (首页), "Services" (服务), "News" (资讯), and "My Account" (我的). The "Home" section highlights key services, allowing users to quickly access the functions they need.
The app is also equipped with an AI-powered government assistant named "Jingjing" (京京), which uses conversational interaction to precisely match users with services, news, as well as FAQs, enabling users to access services seamlessly through searching and asking questions.

The newly launched Jingtong app has integrated over 1,400 government and public service items, covering core areas such as social security, healthcare, education, and employment. In addition to personal (个人版) and business (企业版) versions, the app also offers special versions for seniors, the visually impaired, and English speakers, providing comprehensive services for all types of users. When the user's phone system language is set to English, the app will automatically switch to its English version. The app has also introduced the "News" section that encompasses information about culture, sports, transportation, healthcare, and other topics, along with the "Events Calendar" (城市服务日历) that lists the latest daily events, displaying government services, public services, and public information in one place.

Unlike the mini-program of Jingtong, the app introduces direct notifications that provide policy updates, appointment reminders, payment notices, and certificates' expiration alerts directly to users through its homepage, off-screen notifications, banner messages and other methods. New messages can also be displayed in prominent forms such as corner tags and desktop widgets.

The app has also introduced the "Policy Toolkit" (京策), providing users with full-process, policy-related services, including inquiry, push notifications, and policy implementations. Users can also subscribe to customized policies and enjoy personalized policy recommendations.
Regarding its personal accounts, the app shares the same user system as the mini-program, and offers multiple authentication levels, including phone number, real-name, and real-person verification as well as over 10 login methods such as fingerprint and facial recognition. The app also provides users with a unified personal dashboard across different devices, where they can track the progress of applications and access personalized policies and digital services in one place.
The mini-program of Jingtong will remain functional, so users can choose to use any platform that works best for them. The app is now available on major mobile app stores—you can search for "Jingtong" (京通) or "Beijing Service" (北京服务) to download it.
