Co-hosted by the Beijing People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the Xicheng District People's Government, the event was centered on tea aesthetics and featured three cultural experience sessions: tasting spring tea, admiring spring blossoms, and appreciating spring fragrances.
Ha Angelet Phan, the spouse of the Belgian ambassador to China and the leader of the group of the participating ambassadors' spouses, said that the event, held ahead of International Women's Day, provided a chance for cross-cultural exchanges and strengthened the conviction in the power of peace, dialogue and friendship.

Silvia Jardim, the spouse of the Colombian ambassador to China, remarked that China is renowned for its profound tea culture and high-quality tea, while Colombia is famous worldwide for its coffee. In her opinion, both coffee and tea serve as mediums of social etiquette, and people use them to serve and welcome guests, as well as to show friendship — precisely their common grounds.

She further exclaimed that the event was wonderful.
In the future, the Beijing People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries will continue to organize events that highlight Beijing's cultural features and cater to women's needs for ambassadors' spouses, contributing to the implementation of the outcomes of the Global Summit of Women and promoting mutual learning, exchanges, and cooperation between Chinese and foreign women.
