Beijing's new round of traffic restrictions based on the last digits of license plate numbers will come into effect on December 29.

From December 29, 2025 to March 29, 2026, vehicles with license plate numbers ending in certain numbers will be prohibited from running in certain areas on designated weekdays: 3 and 8 on Mondays, 4 and 9 on Tuesdays, 5 and 0 on Wednesdays, 1 and 6 on Thursdays, and 2 and 7 on Fridays (where a license plate number ends with a letter instead of a number, they will be deemed as 0).

Effective Hours: 7:00 to 20:00

Restricted Areas: All roads within the 5th Ring Road (the ring road itself is excluded)

Drivers shall comply with the restrictions accordingly.
