To make the upcoming holidays even more fascinating, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, together with Baidu Maps, has launched the "Cultural and Tourism Event Map for Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day Holidays" (中秋国庆文旅活动地图), presenting more than 50 cultural and tourism events across the city.
The map is available both online and offline. Starting from September 28, users can search for "Jingcai Qiuyun" (京彩秋韵) on Baidu Maps to quickly access information on various events and recommended itineraries. They can also claim 30-percent discount ride-hailing coupons. Printed map folders will also be distributed at tourist information centers in Terminal 3 of Beijing Capital International Airport, Beijingxi (Beijing West) Railway Station, Wangfujing, Beijing Daxing International Airport, and the Olympic Park, as well as at selected hotels.
The recommended events cover a wide variety of themes. At Lugou Bridge and Wanping Fortress, the "Moon over Lugou" (“卢沟晓月”) Mid-Autumn Cultural Festival will feature light shows after dark, immersive parades, and 3D projections recreating historical scenes on the ancient city walls. Other highlights include Pofengling Red Leaf Festival, the Red Leaf Cultural Festival of the Beijing Garden Expo Park, the Hu Resort's Maple Viewing Season, and the Beijing Chrysanthemum Culture Festival and Golden Autumn Flower Fair at the Beijing International Flower Port. In addition, the 9th China Opera Culture Week, the 2025 Beijing Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day Lantern Fair at the Beijing World Park, and the Liangma River International Arts Festival with performances and light shows will provide diverse artistic experiences.
Several offerings in Beijing's suburban areas will also amuse visitors, such as the Great Wall Chestnut Culture Festival (长城板栗文化节) in Huairou, the Terrace Harvest Festival (伴山梯田丰收节) in Mentougou, the Chinese Music Valley - Yuyang Autumn Music Market (中国乐谷·渔阳金秋音乐市集) in Pinggu, and the Fish King Food Culture Festival (鱼王美食文化节) in Miyun. These events will provide visitors with the chance to experience harvest vibes in a rural setting.
