On September 23, the Beijing World Park is set to come alive with the commencement of the 2025 Beijing Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day Garden Party with Colorful Lanterns.

Themed "World's Fantastic Nights in Brilliant Beijing", the festival comprises seven thematic zones based on the park's miniatures of landmarks around the globe. They are named as "Carnival Nights", "Romantic Europe", "Vibrant Americas", "Passionate Africa", "Mysterious Asia", "Colorful Oceania", and "Belt and Road".

At the entrance, the giant panda lantern set "China's National Treasures"  immediately goes into the limelight. Further inside, an illuminated European manor glows in a dreamlike fashion, while the ground-level lanterns complement perfectly with the dazzling aerial light shows.

Strolling counterclockwise through the park, creative light installations and immersive illumination spaces can be found everywhere. Cultural wonders are interpreted through the lantern-making techniques of Zigong of Sichuan Province, which are collectively recognized as an intangible cultural heritage item in China, taking visitors on an immersive, make-believe journey around the world. The park's replica of the Eiffel Tower shifts through a spectrum of colors, while at the nearby "Arc de Triomphe", lanterns with a fairy-tale theme come into view–including a pumpkin carriage with a playing card-shaped lantern hidden beneath it. There are 53 such playing card-shaped lanterns scattered around the park.

More than 50 specialty vendors have also joined the event, including those from the star-rated hotels and time-honored brands under the Beijing Tourism Group, prominent enterprises in Fengtai District, enterprises born out of the Beijing-Inner Mongolia collaborations, leading fast-food chains, brands trending online, and those offering interactive activities involving intangible cultural heritage.
