Just because the rain stops, it doesn't mean the danger is over. Some threats may still emerge later. Here are the safety hazards everyone should be aware of after the heavy rain.

1.Geological Disasters

The soil remains soft and unstable after heavy downpours. Some areas may face risks of landslides, mudslides, and riverbank collapses. Everyone should avoid going to areas prone to collapse or landslides to prevent secondary disasters.

2.Electric Shock

In some residential communities, risks of electric shock may exist in waterlogged areas. Please avoid entering any waterlogged outdoor space or underground area.

3.Threats Posed by Walls and Trees

Tall trees and structures (including walls) can fall without warning. Everyone is advised to keep a safe distance when walking near fences, large trees, or buildings.

4.Missing or Damaged Manhole Covers

Some manhole covers may be missing, damaged, or open due to ongoing repairs. Residents are advised to watch their step and avoid walking near these areas when outdoors.

5.Ground Subsidence

There is a high risk of ground subsidence. Everyone should remain alert when going outdoors. If any suspicious crack or cavity is found, take immediate evasive action and report the finding to the relevant governmental authorities without delay.

6.Health and Food Safety

Maintain good personal and food hygiene: keep your hands clean, drink only treated water, and avoid consuming livestock that died from unknown causes. Report any dead or sick livestock to the local health authority without delay.
