During the Qingming Festival period (April 4 to 6), Beijing will experience mainly clear to cloudy weather with generally good visibility. The Beijing Meteorological Observatory alerts that due to a cold front, northerly winds of around force 4 with gusts reaching force 7–8 will occur today. The breezy conditions will persist into tomorrow daytime, maintaining northerly winds near force 3 accompanied by gusts up to force 6. Temperatures will remain stable, with daytime highs of 22°C–23°C and nighttime lows of 7°C–9°C.
Amidst gusty conditions, the public is advised to brace against strong winds during outdoor activities, avoiding outdoor billboards, temporary structures, and tall trees. With heightened Tomb-sweeping rituals and spring outings during the Qingming Festival peak period, open-flame usage in wild areas is strictly prohibited due to dry conditions. Civilized memorial practices are being promoted alongside enhanced fire prevention measures in public spaces.
Residents are advised to adjust clothing appropriately due to significant temperature fluctuations between day and night, with lower temperatures during early mornings and evenings. Vigilance against colds is recommended. Additionally, due to high pollen concentrations, sensitive individuals should avoid allergens and take protective measures when outdoors.
