From March 27 to April 13, Sarah Brightman, an international music legend, will take the stage at the Beijing Performing Arts Centre, starring in Andrew Lloyd Webber's classic musical "Sunset Boulevard". Adapted from the 1950 Academy Award-winning film of the same name, this classic brings the golden age of Hollywood back to life through a brand-new theatrical narrative.

Brightman has served as the vocalist for two Olympic theme songs. She brought the innocent kitten Jemima to life in "Cats", lent her ethereal voice to Christine in "The Phantom of the Opera", earned a Grammy nomination with the sacred melodies of "Requiem", and saw the global sales of "Time to Say Goodbye" surpassing 15 million copies.

Highlights of the Production

Classic Reimagined: Featuring a rotating staircase, Baroque carvings and a grey-blue lighting design, the show recreates the visual aesthetics of Hollywood's silent film era. The costumes meticulously capture the styles back in the 1930s.

Dazzling Musical Numbers: Composed by the "father of musicals" Andrew Lloyd Webber, the classic songs blend the elements of the cinematic soundtracks to create an immersive ambiance. Hits like "With One Look", "As If We Never Said Goodbye", "Sunset Boulevard" and "Too Much in Love To Care" promise an unforgettable auditory experience.

Star-Studded Cast: In addition to Brightman who acts as the silent film queen Norma, the cast also includes West End stars with Tim Draxl acting as Joe and Michael Cormick acting as the butler.
