On February 14, the 2025 Beijing Culture and Tourism Work Conference was held. It was learned from the conference that this year, Beijing will launch a unified reservation and ticket-purchasing platform for municipal scenic areas. Currently, the platform is still at the preparatory stage, aimed at providing convenient services for locals and tourists from elsewhere.

With regard to the integrated development of culture, commerce, tourism and sports, Beijing will further develop the destination brand of "Micro Vacations in Beijing", continuously build the consumption brand of "Internet-Famous Check-in Places in Beijing", and vigorously promote the brand of "Go Cycling in Beijing". The city's copyrighted resources will be integrated to create new development models and hot new products of "Beijing Gifts". In addition, diversified and integrated business formats such as "concerts + tourism" and "sports events + tourism" will be developed, with new industrial tourism routes to be launched. Several high-quality homestays like "Great Wall Homestays", "Grand Canal Homestays", and "Yongding River Homestays" will also be built.

To accelerate the growth of its inbound tourism sector, the city will carry out Beijing Inbound Tourism Partnership Action Plan and hold Beijing Inbound Tourism Development Conference. It will strengthen the building of its international language environment and improve foreign language signs and navigation facilities at scenic areas, airports, and other relevant locations. Moreover, the "2025 Inbound Tourism Incentive and Support Fund Project" will be implemented, and multiple measures will be taken to build Beijing into the "top choice for inbound tourism in China".

This year, Beijing will also continue promoting the construction of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Sports, Culture and Tourism Belt, by holding brand events such as the Beijing-Zhangjiakou All-Season Sports Tourism Carnival, and creating a number of featured cultural tourism products and high-quality routes around Beijing. Meanwhile, the city will expedite the operation of tourist trains such as the Jingzang (Beijing-Xizang) Train, the Jinghe (Beijing-Hetian) Train, and the Jingchang (Beijing-Changsha) Train. Beijing will also hold cultural tourism promotion activities jointly with key urban agglomerations in China, such as the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Yangtze River Delta, to explore new models of regional cultural tourism cooperation.
