On December 6, 2024, the Beijing International Students' Night (BISN) event was held at Beijing Foreign Studies University, where nearly 300 international students and scholars of 36 universities from 56 countries and regions presented wonderful art performances of various forms such as singing, dancing, acrobatics, crosstalk, and skits.

BISN is a shared signature cultural brand of higher education institutions in Beijing. This year's event, themed "Chasing Dreams Across Mountains and Seas, Encountering the Colorful Beijing'', aims to showcase the stories of how international students get to know the city, pursue education here, become part of it, and settle themselves in Beijing.

At the event, Chinese and international students showcased a variety of creative performances, demonstrating the achievements of art-cultural collaboration among higher education institutions in Beijing. Awards were presented on site to universities that received excellent evaluations for the quality of higher education for international students coming to China in 2024, as well as to teachers and international student management staff who excelled in basic teaching skills and professional abilities, and to international students who won the calligraphy competition for college students in Beijing.

This event focused on strengthening the "Study in Beijing" brand-building and capacity-enhancement efforts, showcasing the inspiring journeys of international students who have traveled across mountains and seas to come to Beijing. Here, they join hands with their Chinese counterparts to pursue their dreams and create a better future. Looking ahead, "Study in Beijing" will continue to embrace an open and inclusive approach to build bridges for mutual learning between Chinese and international students, promote the internationalization of higher education in Beijing, and facilitate cooperation and cultural exchanges between China and the rest of the world.
