Beijing Meteorological Service has issued a blue alert for a strong cold front at 11:00 am on November 24. Due to a strong cold air mass, the temperature will drop sharply in Beijing from today (November 25) to November 27.

From daytime today to daytime on November 27, the plains will experience gusts of forces 6-7, while the mountainous areas will see gusts of force 8. With the arrival of the cold wave, the temperature will also drop. It is expected that on Tuesday and Wednesday (November 26 and 27), the maximum temperature in the daytime will only be around 3℃, and the minimum nighttime temperature on the plains will drop to about -5℃. Precautions are advised.

Temperature trend in Beijing from November 25 to December 3, 2024

The temperature will rise from this Thursday (November 28), but the north wind will still be quite noticeable, causing significant chills. Please take precautions against the wind and low temperatures and beware of falling objects from high places. When going out, be sure to wear warm clothing to prevent from catching cold or respiratory and cardiovascular diseases.
