On the eve of the new summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), as part of the side events of FOCAC, the Launching Ceremony of the Report on Chinese Investment in Africa 2024 and Invest in Africa Beijing Dialogue, hosted by the China-Africa Business Council under the supervision by the Secretariat of the Chinese Follow-up Committee of FOCAC, were successfully held in Beijing. The Chinese, English and French versions of the Report on Chinese Investment in Africa 2024 - China-Africa Investment Cooperation: A New Impetus to Africa's Industrialization (Report for short) were released on site.

The Report was jointly developed by the China-Africa Business Council and renowned experts in China and other countries and regions. It points out that the economic and trade cooperation between China and Africa continues to deepen and diversify, demonstrating a trend that has had a positive impact on Africa. On the one hand, the trend has promoted Africa's economic growth, and on the other hand, it has effectively expedited Africa's industrialization process. The synergy between the China-Africa cooperation projects and cooperation mechanisms has driven a wide range of emerging industries to flourish. These industries have rapidly become the new highlights of Africa's development.
