Beijing Launches Eight Optimized Sightseeing Bus Lines

On August 17, the Beijing Hub of Tour Dispatch launches eight sightseeing bus lines with the themes such as the Great Beijing Central Axis and Trendy Chaoyang.


1. Great Beijing Central Axis Sightseeing Bus Tour

The Great Beijing Central Axis sightseeing bus tour showcases a collection of newly designed vintage-style tourist trolleys, allowing travelers to fully explore the cultural heritage of 15 renowned locations that were once the backbone of the ancient capital. The tour is available throughout the day and night.

The day tour starts at Qianmen and ends at Drum Tower from 10:00 to 17:00 every day. The fare is CNY 50 per person.

The night tour starts and ends at Qianmen. Tourists can book the bus on the official online platform. The departure time is scheduled at 19:00 and the cost per person is CNY 268. 

Please note that reservations must be made at least one day in advance, and the bus will only depart once a minimum of 10 passengers have been confirmed. Children who are less than 1.3 meters tall do not need to pay as they do not occupy a seat.


2. Trendy Chaoyang (Qianmen-SOLANA) Night Tour

The Trendy Chaoyang (Qianmen-SOLANA) Night Tour offers a combination of a bus tour and a cruise tour, from April 15 to October 15 each year. The journey begins at Qianmen and concludes at SOLANA. The departure time from Qianmen is scheduled at 18:00, while the departure time from Blue Harbor is planned at 20:30. The cost is CNY 180 per person on weekdays and CNY 230 per person on weekends and holidays (inclusive of tickets for tour bus and boat in a discounted package deal).


3.Trendy Chaoyang (Bird's Nest-Yansha Pier) Night Tour

The Trendy Chaoyang (Bird's Nest-Yansha Pier) Night Tour begins at the Bird's Nest and ends at Yansha Pier from April 15 to October 15. The departure time from Bird's Nest is scheduled at 19:00, while the departure time from Yansha Pier is planned at 20:30. The single journey ticket is CNY 128 per person, while the round-trip ticket costs CNY 178 per person.


4. Qianmen-Forbidden City Loop Tour

The Qianmen-Forbidden City Loop Tour operates from 9:00 to 17:00, April 15 to November 15, and from 9:30 to 17:00, November 16 to April 14. The tour starts and ends at Qianmen. The cost is CNY 50 per person.


5. Jingshan-Houhai Shuttle Bus Tour

The Jingshan-Houhai Shuttle Bus Tour starts at Shenwumen and ends at Beihai North Gate from 10:00 to 17:00 every Tuesday to Sunday. The fare is CNY 10 per person.


6. Chang'an Street Night Tour

The Chang'an Street Night Tour starts and ends at Qianmen, both from 17:00 to 22:00 daily. The fare is CNY 50 per person.


7. Qianmen-Bird's Nest-Water Cube Night Tour

The Qianmen-Bird's Nest-Water Cube Night Tour starts and ends at Qianmen from May 1 to October 15 every year. Departure is set at 19:00. The fare is CNY 60 per person.


8. Mutianyu Great Wall Immersive Tour

The Mutianyu Great Wall Immersive Tour commences at Qianmen, bypasses the Mutianyu Great Wall, and ends by returning to Qianmen from May 1 to October 15. The departure time from Qianmen is scheduled at 7:00, while the departure time from Mutianyu Great Wall is set at 15:00. Please note that the bus will only accept passengers with a reservation, and the tour will only proceed if there are at least five people on board.The cost is CNY 688 per person, including the transportation fee, admission to the Mutianyu Great Wall Scenic Area, interpretation services, and a round-trip cable ticket.
