"With this card in hand, the whole Beijing is yours to explore." On July 31, Beijing launched the "BEIJING PASS", an international travel card designed specifically for foreign visitors. This all-in-one card simplifies transportation, shopping, ticket purchases for tourist attractions, and more. The "BEIJING PASS" cards not only make it easier to make payments for foreign tourists, but also embody Beijing's warm, friendly, welcoming and open spirit.

"The 'BEIJING PASS' is incredibly easy to use. All you need to do is top it up and swipe," said Jared, a tourist from the United States. He also praised Beijing's developed public transportation system and expressed gratitude to his friends for teaching him how to use mobile payment Apps like Alipay.

Currently, each "BEIJING PASS" card covers all transportation options in Beijing, including the subway, buses, suburban trains, and taxis. Visitors can also use the cards to purchase tickets on-site at 30 popular parks and tourist attractions, including the Badaling Great Wall. Additionally, the cards are accepted at 20 designated retail outlets in Beijing, offering every user a smoother shopping experience.

In the future, various other versions of the "BEIJING PASS" cards will also be introduced, including those featuring elements like traditional folding fans and frog knots (an intangible cultural heritage item in China), to showcase the city's charm through small cards incorporating more cultural elements.
