The theme day for the 2024 Digital Literacy and Skills Enhancement Month was held on June 14 at the Beijing Digital Literacy and Skills Training Base – Alibaba Center. During the event, ten digital experience venues in Beijing were unveiled. In addition, an announcement was made regarding the establishment of ten new digital training facilities in Beijing, increasing the total number to 28.

The ten newly released digital experience venues include Liangma River International Waterfront, Shougang First Blast Furnace · SoReal Sci-Fi Park, Zhongguancun Xicheng Park Innovation and Creativity Achievements Exhibition Center, Lumicang New Audio-visual Industrial Park, BIMVR Intelligent Construction Digital Experience Center,  Tongzhou Grand Canal Cultural Tourism Scenic Area 5A Digital Tour Route, Metaverse Application Innovation Center Exhibition Experience Hall, Shunyi District Library Digital Experience Center, Beijing Ecological Civilization Practice Base, and Light Science and Technology Museum.

At the event, the "I AI Beijing" creative contest for AI-generated images was formally launched. The competition invites individuals to share their "AI in Beijing, I AI Beijing" stories through creating drawings. Participants were immersed in the opportunity to learn about and apply the latest AI model technology, fully experiencing the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence in Beijing.
