Recently, the results of the "10th Anniversary of Grand Canal's UNESCO World Heritage Listing: Hot Topics for Cultural Tourism Sector of Beijing Municipal Administrative Center" were released at a press conference.

1. Beijing (Tongzhou) Grand Canal Cultural Scenic Area was acknowledged as a National 5A-level Tourist Attraction, becoming the first National 5A-level Tourist Attraction on the east of Beijing's Central Axis.

2. Three major cultural facilities of Beijing Municipal Administrative Center were put into use, namely Beijing Performing Arts Centre, Beijing Library, and the Grand Canal Museum of Beijing, which have become new cultural landmarks of the city.

3. The "Grand Canal Music Festival" brand was created, giving people a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the music, as well as to experience the unique charm of the Grand Canal culture.

4. The "Grand Canal Drama Season" brought high-quality cultural products to the citizens, refreshing the artistic atmosphere of Beijing Municipal Administrative Center.

5. Beijing Municipal Administrative Center unveiled its sports brand "Tong Sports", providing citizens with a wide array of information.

6. The 62-kilometer-long Beijing-Hebei section of the Grand Canal opened for cruise tours after over 100 years.

7. The Universal Beijing Resort commenced operation, allowing visitors to experience all classic amusements at one stop.

8. Beijing's Central Green Forest Park opened to the public as an oasis inside the city.

9. Tongzhou District releases the Plan for the Protection and Construction of the Grand Canal Cultural Belt, giving an overview of the current situation of Beijing Municipal Administrative Center's Grand Canal Cultural Belt.

10. Three distinctive towns of Beijing Municipal Administrative Center, namely Songzhuang Town known for art creativity, Taihu Town famous for performances, and Zhangjiawan Town reputed as a hub for designers, demonstrate cultural and technological charm.
