Recently, the "Bridge of Future" China-US Youth Volunteer Exchange Program took place at Shougang Park. The event brought together teachers and students from New Jersey in the United States, students from Beijing Academy, and other youth volunteers in Beijing.

The group visited the office area of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, embodied in the principles of "Green, Inclusive, Open, Clean". The participants praised that Shougang Park has achieved a perfect combination of industrial heritage and Olympic elements. The exchange group also toured Winter Olympics venues like the Big Air Shougang and other landmarks like the No. 3 Blast Furnace within the Park. Together, they experienced the charm of the games and witnessed the city's renovation and development.

The day of the event coincided with the first day of Shougang Youth Volunteer Service Unit launching the Dragon Boat Festival Parent-Child Volunteer Activity. Parent and child volunteers dressed in blue uniforms for volunteers provided services of consultation, guidance, spot check in and stamp collection at the volunteer station of the No. 3 Blast Furnace. At the volunteer station of the No. 3 Blast Furnace, the group and family volunteers unexpectedly met and engaged in deep communication.
