The year 2024 marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France and the China-France Year of Cultural Tourism. Red wine, as a significant symbol of cultural exchanges, has borne witness to the two nations' strong affinity. As a prelude to the 2024 Beijing CBD Forum, the Bordeaux Wine Festival in Chaoyang District was launched on May 31 at the north plaza of "Scitech More" shopping mall.
At the north plaza, renowned wineries from the six major wine-producing areas of Bordeaux, France made an appearance with hundreds of authentic Bordeaux wines. The "Bordeaux Wine Courses" display area is also available, allowing visitors to participate in wine-tasting courses and various DIY activities.
The event has highlighted Beijing's efforts to become a global gastronomical metropolis by presenting both local and French brands, offering unique wine-tasting experiences. In addition to wine products, several Michelin and Black Pearl restaurants introduced their unique dishes, providing Chinese and foreign customers with the opportunity to experience Beijing's charm through food and wine.
It's been reported that the on-site event runs for three days. Limited packages have also been launched in collaboration with "Scitech More", Jianwai Subdistrict and catering brands in Chaoyang District, allowing customers to experience the marvelous combination of wine and food until the end of June.
