The first Ming-Chic Carnival will be held at Juyong Pass from April to October, spanning five main national holidays of China: Tomb Sweeping Day holiday, May Day holiday, Dragon Boat Festival holiday, Mid-autumn Festival holiday, and National Day holiday.

The carnival will feature five themed sub-events that are planned in accordance with different festivals and a variety of cultural elements, including street dancing, music, fashion, art, and sports.

It has been reported that the first sub-event will kick off during the Tomb Sweeping Day holiday (April 4 to 6), and the original immersive scenario-based performance featuring the cultural elements of the Ming Dynasty will make its debut. Moreover, the WALK guide for the Juyong Pass Great Wall will introduce young tourists to the culture of the Ming Dynasty.

The carnival will reach its peak during the summer with the Ming-Chic Music Festival. To create a truly amazing night, the two-month music festival will have different weekly themes, such as music frenzy, electronic music, pop music, and rock music. This is aimed at enticing more tourists to flock to the Juyong Pass Great Wall at night and provide them with unforgettable experiences.
