Beijing has a number of major projects lining up to ring in 2024 with an economic bang, including the construction of Beijing Haichang Ocean Park.

The Beijing Haichang Ocean Park project spans a total construction area of some 140,000 square meters in the northern industrial belt of the BMC (Beijing Municipal Administrative Center) cultural tourism zone. Upon completion, it will become the first large-scale international marine-themed culture and tourism project in the BMC and the first of its kind to be built in Beijing since 2000.

The park will host a diverse range of marine, polar, large aquatic, and land animals alongside businesses engaged in ecology, popular science, research and study, interactive events, entertainment, art, internet-famous sites, and dining to give birth to a new kind of immersive ecological ocean resort entertainment experience.
