Celebrate the Chinese New Year with grand shows! During this Spring Festival holiday, Beijing's major theaters are presenting a series of performances, featuring renowned artists, and promising a season of exceptional entertainment!
From February 2 to 29, Zhongshan Park Concert Hall will host 10 fantastic performances, ranging from symphonies and violin solos to folk music, Inner Mongolian long tunes, acrobatics, and crosstalk.
The National Centre for the Performing Arts, in collaboration with Beijing Art Centre, and Taihu Theatre of the National Centre for the Performing Arts, will stage 37 outstanding shows in 77 sessions, running until February 24. These captivating performances will immerse audience in an artistic paradise of "music, dance, and drama" as they celebrate the Year of the Dragon.
New Year Concert by Golikov and State Symphony Orchestra of Leningrad Region

Russian conductor Mikhail Golikov will lead the State Symphony Orchestra of Leningrad Region to perform three New Year concerts at the concert hall of the National Centre for the Performing Arts.

Irish Step Dance "Spirit of the Dance"

After 25 years of uninterrupted world tours, the Irish step dance "Spirit of the Dance", which has amassed an audience of over 20 million, is set to grace the opera house of the National Centre for the Performing Arts. "Spirit of the Dance" is a theatrical extravaganza based on Irish step dancing, with the dancers' footwork mirroring the thrilling speed of a high-speed train, all executed in flawless synchronization.

Premium Magic and Acrobatics Evening Show of "Xinxi Magic Show"

"Xinxi Magic Show" will delight the audience with award-winning acrobatics and exquisite magic performances rarely witnessed in the local entertainment market. With innovative acrobatic skills, lively music, and a spectacular array of acts, it aims to convey warm New Year greetings to the wide audience in the Year of the Dragon.

Furthermore, from February 11 to 16, Beijing Comedy Theatre will host the "New Year Ballet Week", which includes classic ballet performances such as "Swan Lake" and "The Nutcracker" by Russian State Ballet. Subsequently, from February 17 to 23, Beijing Comedy Theatre, in collaboration with New Scene, will launch the "X-Theatre Drama Video Week", featuring eight high-definition drama videos. This screening week will spotlight “Hot IPs”, including "Good" starring David Tennant, "Life of Pi" presented by the National Theatre of the United Kingdom, and "Hamlet" starring Benedict Cumberbatch.
