The 19th Khachaturian 120th Anniversary International Violin Competition Award Ceremony Unveils its Grand Finale
On the evening of December 28, 2023, the award ceremony and closing concert of the 19th Khachaturian 120th Anniversary International Violin Competition unfolded at the China National Opera House.

The collaboration between the Shijingshan District People's Government of Beijing Municipality and the Aram Khachaturian Cultural Foundation of Armenia brought the Khachaturian International Violin Competition to Shijingshan District, marking the event's premier venture beyond Armenia. Drawing exceptional violinists from over 10 countries, the global event commenced at the China National Opera House in Beijing on December 17, 2023.
As a flagship event of the "Art Shijingshan", this competition featured a series of top-notch thematic concerts. On December 30 and 31, 2023, the Shijingshan District Cultural Center hosted the "Art Shijingshan" 2024 New Year Symphony Concert. The internationally acclaimed conductor, Sergey Smbatyan led the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, the China National Opera House Symphony Orchestra, and the award-winning performers to jointly perform classic compositions, presenting a musical feast for all in attendance.
