The 2024 New Year's Eve countdown celebration in Beijing is scheduled to take place at Shougang Park in Shijingshan District on the evening of December 31, 2023.

To ensure the smooth progress of the related activities, in accordance with the relevant provisions of road traffic safety laws and regulations, temporary traffic control measures will be implemented in segments and at specific times on the roads surrounding Shougang Park.

From December 29 to 30, 2023, daily from 20:00 to midnight, and from 17:00 on December 31, 2023 1:00 on January 1, 2024, Ergaolu South Road (starting from its intersection with Beixin'an Road and ending at its intersection with Qunminghu Street) will be closed to all vehicles and pedestrians, except for those with special permits for the 2024 Beijing New Year's Eve countdown event. The two intersections will remain open for traffic.

If you need to travel through this section during these times, you can use alternative routes via Beixin'an Road, Shijingshan Road, or Guangning Road.

The public transportation authorities will release public notices to inform the society about the specific changes in bus operations during the mentioned time period and within the aforementioned area.
