The "Digital Exhibition of Prince Gong's Mansion's Ancient Artifacts" is now available online, enabling the public to admire the century-old precious collection of the mansion without leaving their homes. Featuring the artifacts from Prince Gong's Mansion Museum and digital resources from eight other cultural institutions around the globe, the museum uses ink-painting-style 3D scene rendering and virtual depth panoramic presentation to present an online exhibition. Treasures from the museum's collection, including a Langyao red bottle shaped like a Chinese water chestnut, which was made during the reign of the Kangxi Emperor (1661-1722) of the Qing Dynasty, are digitally "reunited" with other treasures of Prince Gong's Mansion, that are currently housed by overseas cultural institutions.
