It is a dream like a dream" - of a renowned Taoist philosopher Zhuang Zi (c. 369-286 BC) before taking audiences on a journey through time and space. In the opening scene, a young modern-day doctor recalls Patient No. 5 who suffers from a strange illness and, since medicine is unable to help him, embarks on a global expedition in search of life.
