Beijing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, for the first time, formulated and released the Labor Contract Template for Foreign Employees in Beijing (Contract Template) in both Chinese and English on November 30. According to statistics, the Contract Template  is expected to help 22,000 foreign personnel with valid work permits in  signing labor contracts with their employers across the city.

According to the Beijing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, the Contract Template, formulated in accordance with the Labor Contract Law of the People's Republic of China,  the Rules for the Administration of Employment of Foreigners in China,  and other relevant laws and regulations, was released for reference by  employers and their foreign employees.

The Contract Template  consists of 25 articles in ten chapters, covering top concerns of  foreign personnel and their employers from the term of the labor  contract, job description and location, working hours, leave  entitlements, and remuneration. Additionally, it offers principles for  work safety and resolution of labor disputes. It is also applicable to  the signing of electronic labor contracts.
