Beijing Municipal Cultural Heritage Bureau has recently approved the notices of recordation for the establishment of several museums, including Beijing Liubiju Museum, Beijing Chinese Cloth Shoe Culture Museum, and Beijing Cloisonné Art Museum, each showcasing a unique aspect of Beijing's local culture. The three museums will open their doors in the coming six months.

Beijing Liubiju Museum will not only display the history of Liubiju, a time-honored enterprise, and its traditional craftsmanship of making pickled vegetables, but will also delve into the essence of traditional Chinese food culture and enhance the design of interactive offers. Neiliansheng, a Beijing-based cloth shoe workshop, will set up Beijing Chinese Cloth Shoes Culture Museum. Beijing Cloisonné Art Museum will host thematic exhibitions to present the exhibits related to the craft, artistic features, and cultural history of cloisonné. By integrating interactive activities such as cloisonné crafting, Beijing Cloisonné Art Museum aims to reveal Beijing's distinctive cultural resources as the birthplace of Chinese cloisonné to visitors.
