Beijing Scitech More will officially open on December 2. 

Covering nearly 28,000 square meters, the renovated building has five floors above ground and two floors below ground. Its business facilities consist of 50 percent fine restaurants, 25 percent supermarket, 13 percent leisure amenities, and 12 percent retail stores.

Standing on the east side of Chang'an Avenue, Beijing Scitech Plaza opened in 1992 and achieved many firsts in Beijing's business circle. It was the first department store with over 90 percent of open shelves, the first with the most escalators, the first with a supermarket selling mainly imported products, the first with the largest indoor screen, and the first to apply a computer-networked cash register system.

Scitech Plaza announced the launch of renovations in 2019 and officially closed its doors at the end of March 2020. The new Scitech More will be a good place for social activities, with cafes, bars, high-quality restaurants, and new brands with experiential marketing, to meet the diverse and multi-level consumer demands in the CBD.
