Recently, the Beijing Art Center was awarded the Autodesk Design & Make Awards – Outstanding Recognition of the Accelerating Transformation Category. Autodesk Design & Make Awards (formerly known as Autodesk Excellence Awards) is an annual event honoring an inspiring collection of innovators exploring bold opportunities with technology to transform their industries and make a lasting impact on the world.

With an area of nearly 130,000 square meters, the Center is composed of three standalone structures: a 1,000-seat theater, a 1,800-seat opera house, and a 1,600-seat concert hall.

The designers of the Center drew inspiration from the ancient granaries and supplies-transporting ships of Tongzhou, earning it the moniker "cultural granary". The facade, assembled from 4,134 aluminum panels, plays with light and shadow in the sun's glow, creating the image of an ascending curtain.

Beijing Art Center has completed all inspections on October 26. Not long ago, the China NCPA Orchestra, conducted by the esteemed Zhang Xian, and the Mariinsky Theatre Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Russian maestro Valery Gergiev, graced the concert hall stage with their stunning performances. Conductor Zhang Xian expressed her admiration, saying, "I am astounded by every intricate detail here."
