"Hello, Beijing" Cultural and Tourism Exchange Event Showcases the Charm of Beijing in Angola

The "Hello, Beijing" cultural and tourism exchange event kicked off in Luanda, the capital of Angola, on September 16. The event aims to help local people understand Beijing as a historic city, as well as its latest achievements in the development of a world tourist destination, showcasing the charm of Beijing.

The event consists of two sessions: the "Hello, Beijing" Photography Exhibition and the Chinese Cuisine Culture Festival. With a focus on five themes: "Capital, Ancient Charm, New Look, Humanity, and Ecology," this exhibition showcases 80 outstanding photographic works. At the Chinese Cuisine Culture Festival, senior chefs from Beijing demonstrate the culinary crafts and presentation styles of Chinese pastries and classic snacks to the Angolan citizens.

Perreira, the acting secretary of the Luanda Provincial Committee of the People's Movement for the Liberation of Angola (MPLA), shared his deep impression of the "Hello, Beijing" Photography Exhibition after participating in the event. He expressed anticipation for more cultural and artistic exchanges between Angola and Chinese cities, and he believed that this would foster mutual understanding between the two peoples and consolidate the friendship between the two nations.

The photography exhibition of this event will last until September 23. The "Hello, Beijing" cultural and tourism exchange event is scheduled to be held in Qatar and Morocco in the near future.
