On August 25, the China International Publishing Center in Shijingshan District was officially put into use.

Du Zhanyuan, President of the China International Communications Group (CICG), and other key figures cut the ribbon and unveiled the plaque for the first batch of international communication institutions to settle in the center. During the inaugural ceremony, the Foreign Languages Press signed strategic cooperation agreements with Shijingshan District People's Government of Beijing Municipality, CICG Academy of Translation and Interpretation, and Pengcheng Laboratory.

As the new development base of CICG, the China International Publishing Center based in Shijingshan will make good use of various preferential policies and provide high-quality services for settled institutions and enterprises. Shijingshan will take the center's opening as a new starting point, comprehensively deepen cooperation with the Foreign Languages Press, and strive to make the digital cultural industry a new driver for the district's innovative advancement.

On the same day, the center witnessed the arrival of the China International Publishing Group, the Foreign Languages Press, the Secretariat of the International Publishing Cooperation Mechanism for China-Themed Books, the Secretariat of Orchid Awards, the AI Innovation Center for Translation and Publishing, the International Publishing Cooperation Center, and the China International Book Trading Cooperation, among others. The Working Committee of the Library of Chinese Classics, the editorial departments of the book series "Understanding China", "Biographies of Hundreds of Cities along the Silk Road" and "China Studies", other publishing institutions of key publication projects in China, as well as overseas publishing institutions such as the Egypt-based Bayt El-Hekma for Culture, have settled in the center at the same time.
