Beijing's Public Transportation Creates Over 30 Branded Bus Routes

Bus  route 141 has been given a Beijing-style "interior design," while bus  route 23's carriages have been transformed into a "mobile exhibition  hall" narrating history. Bus route T115 showcases its "women's" brand,  with exclusively female drivers providing warm services. Since the  beginning of this year, Beijing Public Transportation Group has  successively created over 30 branded bus routes. By the end of 2023,  Beijing Public Transportation Group aims to establish a framework for  the "Benchmark Route + Quality Route + Special Route" Enjoyable Public  Transportation brand system, including 21 themes under three categories.  It fully leverages the role of buses as urban windows, transforming  them into mobile advertising stations, moving museums, and  traveling lecture halls.

Each branded bus route sets different  admission criteria and implements plaque services, total quantity  control, and dynamic management. Among them, benchmark routes include  the leading "Shenzhou First Route" and the exemplary "Walking along with  Virtuousness" routes, representing the highest level of bus service  with the best hardware facilities, extensive use of technology, and  significant social impact. Quality routes have outstanding advantages in  terms of service, safety, or operation, with significant social  influence, including the "Quality Service" Genuine Care routes,  "Civilized and Courteous" Safety routes, "Respecting the Elderly and  Assisting the Disabled" Compassionate routes, and "Convenient Commuting"  Benefit routes. Special routes represent the added-value services of  buses, including the "Entering Beijing to Take Exams" Red routes,  "Guarding the Central Axis" Cultural routes, "Ancient Capital Memories"  Beijing-style routes, "Distant Mountains Calling" People-oriented  routes, "Late-night Ferry" Heartwarming routes, "Accompanied by the Rule  of Law" Propaganda routes, and "Women Making Contributions" Caring  routes, among others.

By the end of the 14th Five-Year Plan  period, the public transportation group will establish a comprehensive  "10+100+N" Enjoyable Public Transportation brand system, creating 10  benchmark routes, 100 quality routes, and N special routes. This will  further enhance service capabilities, optimize travel experiences, and  inject new vitality into Beijing's century-old public transportation  industry.
