On July 19, the Palace Museum launched its multilingual website (https://intl.dpm.org.cn) available in English, French, Russian, Japanese, and Spanish, catering to visitors who speak these languages.
The website includes four main sections, namely "Visit", "Explore", "Collections", and "What's on", offering rich content concerning visitor services, information queries, panoramic tours, virtual exhibitions, collection-viewing, and updates on the Palace Museum, among others.
To accommodate the visiting habits of overseas visitors, the "Customize My Travel Plan" option is now available on the multilingual website. This new feature enables visitors to design their own itineraries with just one tap by selecting their preferred locations in advance, including exhibitions, palaces, bookstores, restaurants, and much more. Customized itineraries made according to the individualized needs of visitors can be downloaded and printed out.
The Palace Museum's multilingual website can be accessed on multiple devices, including computers, smartphones, and tablets, thus meeting the diverse needs of overseas visitors and allowing them to learn about the Forbidden City anytime and anywhere.
