Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and the Administrative Commission of Zhongguancun Science Park have jointly announced the first batch of ten exemplary application cases showcasing the potential of large AI models in Beijing. These cases highlight crucial sectors including urban management, medical and health services, scientific research, smart finance, smart life, and smart city development. The primary objective is to facilitate the development of novel functionalities, products, and applications for industrial users, enabling them to achieve greater efficiency, superior quality, and reduced costs. Furthermore, this endeavor aims to foster a deeper integration of AI technologies within various industries.

The Research Center for the Development of Next-Generation AI, under the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China, recently published the China Large AI Model Map Research Report. According to the report, China created a total of 79 AI models, each possessing over one billion parameters. Significantly, nearly half of these large AI models, precisely 38 in number, originated from Beijing. Furthermore, when considering key metrics such as scholar index, open-source model quantity, and influence, Beijing emerges as the front-runner.
