On April 26, the 13th Farmland Sightseeing Season kicked off in Xiaying Village, Luoying Town, Pinggu District, Beijing, with more than 50 excellent farmland attractions on promotion and five leisure villages and towns featuring farmland landscape in the spotlight.

The rapeseed flowers planted on the terraces of Xiaying Village is a unique landscape in the northern mountainous regions. The nearly 200 mu of rapeseed flowers have gradually burst into full bloom from early April until now and is expected to bloom until early May.

The successful planting of rapeseed flowers on the terraced fields has made a more spectacular farmland landscape of the village, attracting a large number of sightseeing visitors. It has increased the popularity of Xiaying Village, promoted the development of the village, and become the highlight of the sightseeing season.

The landscape and leisure agriculture in Beijing has gone through four stages from the construction of flower seas, the integration of valley industries, and the forming of farmland ecological landscape to the development of landscape and leisure agriculture.

More than 50 excellent agritourism attractions will be launched during this year's farmland sightseeing season, which will be announced on the "Beijing Agricultural Technology Promotion" WeChat official account. The focus will be on promoting five characteristic towns with leisure farms, namely Jingzhuang Town in Yanqing District, Changgou Town in Fangshan District, Baoshan Town in Huairou District, Wangxinzhuang Town and Luoying Town in Pinggu District.
