A pilot trailer and concept posters for the official movie of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games, “Beijing 2022”, were released on the first anniversary of the closing ceremony. The closing ceremony of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games was held successfully at the "Bird's Nest" (Beijing National Stadium) on February 20, 2022.  This indicated that Games started at "the beginning of Spring" and ended on the day of "Rain Water".

The trailer showcases venue builders, technical officials, volunteers, and athletes who overcame difficulties with strong beliefs.

The first concept poster takes "gaming with nature" and "pushing to the limit " as the core themes. The snow mirror of the athlete reflects the flying flag of the Beijing Winter Olympic, putting the spirit of the Winter Olympics and the beauty of sports together.  The charm of humanity and sports in the Winter Olympics is well-captured in this poster.

The official movie of the Olympic Games has been a requirement of the International Olympic Committee since 1912 to record the sporting event in the host city, and serves as a video creation that presents the contemporary spirit, cultural characteristics and humanistic concepts of the host city to the world. It has attracted much attention from the international community.

To be projected on the screen in 2023, "Beijing 2022" is produced by Zhang Yimou, directed by Lu Chuan, with Zhang Heping as general advisor and head of the expert advisory group, co-produced by the Beijing Winter Olympic Organizing Committee, the International Olympic Committee, and Cultrual Investment Holdings Co. ,Ltd, and undertaken by Chuan Film.
