December 5 is the International Volunteer Day (IVD) for Economic and Social Development. A variety of volunteer programs are underway in each district in Beijing, and interested residents are encouraged to register for the volunteer programs in their districts. 

How to register

Residents can access Beijing Volunteer Service Federation's official website (www.bv2008.cn) or its WeChat mini-program ("志愿北京"), and click "志愿者注册" (Volunteer Registration) to register with authentic personal information. After registration, visitors can click "我的" (My Account) to enter the user name and password to log in. 

After clicking "修改资料" (Profile Change) and then "服务意愿" (Preference), visitors can select "可参与服务时间" (Preferable Slots) and "服务区域" (Preferable Areas). After choosing "志愿项目" (Volunteer Programs) to enter the program detail page, visitors can click "我要报名" (To Participate) at the bottom right corner to complete the registration for a volunteer program.
